In New Zealand, most children start school shortly after they turn five. All children must be enrolled at school by their sixth birthday.
Enrolling early helps us in planning for the number of children that will be attending, so it's important to do this as early as possible - ideally three months before they are due to start school.

For ALL Enrolments In and Out of Zone
In addition ALL applications must include the following documentation:
- Child's New Zealand Birth Certificate or, if born overseas, the child's passport stamped with "Permanent Residency" or a current "Student Visa" and parent's "Work Visas". Original documents are required.
- Child's immunisation certificate signed by their doctor. This can be obtained from their family doctor.
- Any additional documents that may be required, such as, but not limited to:
- court orders
- adoption certificate
- ORS funding approval letter
